Professorial Chair Roundtable
The O.B. Lulu- Briggs Professorial Chair for Petroleum Geoscientists organized its maiden roundtable on petroleum exploration, development and production. Themed “Sustaining Investments and Reserves in the Face of Growing Challenges”, the roundtable was held on September 24, 2013 at the Hotel Presidential, Port Harcourt, Rivers State. This gathering of industry professionals and intellectuals was hosted by Chief (Dr.) O.B. Lulu- Briggs, OON, DCF, Chairman/CE, Moni Pulo Limited, represented by the Executive Vice Chairman, Mrs. Seinye O.B. Lulu- Briggs.
The roundtable attracted a host of high profile national and international oil and gas professionals who brainstormed on two major challenges confronting the Nigerian Petroleum Industry – the dearth on investment in new exploration for new discoveries and the scourge of vandalism and oil theft, The O.B. Lulu- Briggs professorial Chair for Petroleum Geosciences is located in the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
