Production facilities Installed in the Abana Field include:

  • A floating production facility (AGBANI FPF)
  • Two fixed wellhead platforms (Abana East and Abana West wellhead platforms)
  • A fixed water injection platform

The Agbani Floating Production Facility is located at the mouth of the Calabar River in Nigeria, in water depth ranging between 6m to 10m depending on the tide. Stabilized crude from the production facility is transported via a subsea export pipeline to an FPSO 42KM away in OML 123 for storage and offload.

The Agbani Floating Production Facility is 90 meters in length and 25 meters wide. Production equipment installed on the barge includes a 50,000 barrels/day (BPD) oil-processing/export system; a 40,000BPD produced water-treatment system and a 52,500bwpd water-injection system.
